The VacuLink is a battery powered single-use vacuum measuring device. It is connected via plastic tubing to handheld vacuum extractors (i.e.Mityvac® & Kiwi® PalmPump). It electronically measures the vacuum applied to the fetal head during a vacuum assisted delivery.
The VacuLink connects via electrical cable to the maternal/fetal monitor. The vacuum data is numerically displayed in centimeters of mercury (cm Hg). The vacuum data is printed on the uterine activity channel of the maternal/fetal monitor. The information is displayed on a video monitor and is archived in the hospital database where available.
The VacuLink system includes:
- VacuLink device
- Reusable blue VacuLink cable
- 4 foot sterile tubing
- T adaptor for use with Mityvac® delivery systems
